Calling All Teamsters (and Supporters are welcome too!)
With all this — let’s call it interesting — Alberta weather we’ve been getting, our thoughts turn to spring and that, of course, means spring field work – which includes plowing & seeding.
And while we aim to get ahead of the game, we know that Mother Nature is a fickle lady and she sometimes (who are we kidding – almost always) surprises us with late spring snow.
So, we wanted to let people know we’re PLANNING spring field work in the coming month or so, but we can’t exactly say when…
What we CAN tell you is that everyone is welcome. Bring your horses and get them harnessed up and work off some of that winter weight. We’re here for horse fellowship, learning, sharing experiences, some fun and always a lot of laughs.
When: Coming to a weekend near you soon
Where: The Befus Family Farm (250044 Range Road 271, Rocky View County)
What: Spring field work, getting the kinks out of you and your harness
Lunch will be provided.
After the work is done, and weather permitting, we’ll have a fire at the dugout to relax and celebrate the first few days of the new horse season.
We’ll give you a week or two notice, so you can make arrangements in plenty of time.
We hope to see you there!
